WNBA Booth and Volunteers at the Brooklyn Book Festival 2019

See what WNBA-NYC members had to say about this year’s Brooklyn Book Festival 2019!

Brooklyn Book Festival is one of my favorite events. So many books, avid readers, and conversations about what we’re reading — and plan to read next! What could be better?

I love BBF! It’s a great chance to connect with other book lovers and discover new reads.

It’s been a great time connecting with women and men, telling them about WNBA and GGR [Great Group Reads] — and even getting new members, and hanging out with NYC members too.

WNBA had been around at BBF for many years. It’s always a great experience to see people coming to our booth to learn about our organization, to hear they say this is a wonderful organization.

The energy is high and upbeat, and [there are] even more people than ever, hungry for what we offer — which is the whole package for book publishing professionals, writers, publicists.

About Blog Editor

The Women’s National Book Association was founded in 1917 by female booksellers who weren’t allowed in the men’s organizations. Nearly 100 years later, the WNBA is still supporting women in the book industry through literary events, networking, literacy projects, workshops, open mic nights, book clubs, and many other entertaining programs throughout the season!
