With the warmer weather and summer hours kicking in, May is a good time to check out what’s happening around town. It’s also Query Roulette month for the WNBA-NYC! Do you have a book you’d like to pitch? Now is your chance!

Free Comic Book Day

Happening at thousands of Comic Book specialty stores across the country, FCDB is your chance to scoop up some free comics. If you already love comics, this event is definitely for you. If you’ve never read a comic, I can’t think of a better day to pick up your first one.

Query Roulette

With only 9 days to go, if you haven’t already, now is your chance to sign up for query roulette!

Do you have an illuminating, non-fiction book you’d like to pitch? Or do you have a compelling narrative that comments on the nation’s political and social atmosphere? If so, Jaidree Braddix might just be the agent for you. She’ll be one of the 11 agents featured at this year’s query roulette.
