WNBA-NYC Cocktail Night!

Cocktail Night

Nothing says “Let’s celebrate 100 years!” than cocktails. But this isn’t ordinary cocktails with friends. WNBA-NYC Cocktail Night is a chance to get our creative juices flowing and add a twist. (Pun intended.)

Help us invent the New York chapter’s “Centennial Cocktail.” The New York-inspired cocktail that we create will be included in next year’s Centennial Celebrations. Non-alcoholic versions welcome too!

We’ll be meeting at Les Halles, site of the historic John Street Theater—and just down the street from where the very first WNBA meeting was held 99 years ago.

Join us in raising a glass to the generations of women who built the WNBA and nurtured it for the better part of the 20th century.

When: Tuesday, November 15th

Time: 6pm

Where: Les Halles, 15 John St, New York, NY 10038

There is no cover or fee to get in but drinks and food will be available for purchase.

About Blog Editor

The Women’s National Book Association was founded in 1917 by female booksellers who weren’t allowed in the men’s organizations. Nearly 100 years later, the WNBA is still supporting women in the book industry through literary events, networking, literacy projects, workshops, open mic nights, book clubs, and many other entertaining programs throughout the season!
