While summer’s end is, and always will be, a perennial tragedy, there is at least one silver lining. The return of fall is also the return of the WNBA-NYC season. So while your days may be getting shorter and your nights colder, you can at least find solace in the company of like minded book lovers and nyc dwellers. Tuesday, September 10th

WNBA-NYC 2019 Season Kick-Off and Networking Party

First up, is this annual WNBA get together. Reconnect with old colleagues, meet new members, and regale us all with your summer adventures. A great event for veteran members and prospective newbies, this networking party will highlight all the programming we have coming up this fall!

Sunday, September 22nd

Brooklyn Book Festival

The largest free literary event in NYC, BKBF features over 300 authors in a series of diverse programming. There’s something for every kind of book lover out there. If your into comics, there’s Everything is Horrible: Comics as Satire and Witness. For all the fantasy lovers: Fake News & Faery Tales: Re-Framing History for Truth or Comfort. And for the all around book lover and concerned parent: How to Raise a Reader. But it doesn’t stop there. In addition to the dozens of other events taking place on the 22nd. BKBF will host literary events all though out NYC during the preceding week. And if that still isn’t enough for you, don’t forget the dozens of booksellers and literary organizations that will have booths and be giving out freebies on Festival Day! Make sure you stop by the WNBA-NYC booth for some free candy and booth giveaways!
