Attention Members:
Don’t forget that the blog is always looking for member involvement! Participating in the blog is a great way to share your work, your ideas, your writing and photos, or even just a link to your own blog. Members receive some of the following benefits with the blog:
- Add a link to your personal blog or website to our blog roll: Many members have already added their links–check them out to see what your fellow WNBA-ers are up to!
- Contribute to the blog with a post you have written: If you have a timely piece that would be interesting to members, send it in for consideration! For an idea of what we’re looking for, check out these great guest blogs by Linda Epstein, Sheila Lewis, and Dina Di Maio.
- Volunteer to participate in a Member Monday interview: This is a great chance to virtually introduce yourself to the chapter and talk about (*ahem publicize*) your current projects. Some of our previous interviews were with Helen Wan, Caroline Bock, and Amy Hill Hearth.
- Write book reviews: If you have read a recently published or soon-to-be published book and would like to share your opinions, send your review in for consideration! For an example, see this review by Rachel Weiss-Feldman.
The blog is always looking for ideas as well, so if you’ve read a great article, heard about an interesting event, or have an idea for a new way to get involved, please let us know!
