Description
WNBA-NYC Student membership is available for those who meet the below requirements:
- Those enrolled half or full-time in a degree program at an accredited institution of higher learning (Student ID required).
- Recent graduate employed for 6 months or less in the publishing industry
WNBA-NYC Student members are eligible for all the same benefits as Regular membership.
- Free or Reduced Admission to programs and events
- Access to the WNBA Membership Database, WNBA archives, and forums
- Writing opportunities with the NYC Chapter Blog and the WNBA National newsletter, The Bookwoman
- For authors, opportunities for book links and news on the chapter and national websites
- Eligibility to vote in all local and national WNBA elections, join chapter and national committees, and nominate fellow members for offices and awards
