New York City is home to countless bookstores, cafes, and libraries that host literary events. New York City is also home to many nonprofit institutions with a rich and long history. Very rarely do both things combine, which is where 92Y comes in.
92Y strives to be “an open door to extraordinary worlds. It “is about people” and seeks to “enrich lives, create community, and elevate humanity.” Through a series of lectures and readings, this uptown venue does just that. From a conversation with Anne Rice, to a panel of women authors and bloggers, to a discussion with Jodi Picoult and Katie Couric, 92Y offers events as diverse as the city itself.
