In this tech crazed world of Amazon and Google, it’s nice to sometimes put down that e-reader or tablet and get the experience only a physical bookstore can bring. Here at the WNBA, we love to support independent bookstores in the area, especially ones like Greenlight, which have such full event calendars!
“An independent bookstore in the heart of Fort Greene”, Greenlight hosts events nearly every day of the week. Book groups meet and authors do readings on the weekdays, while story time happens every Saturday and Sunday. Upcoming author readings include Susan Cain, author ofQuiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking, and Charlotte Silver who penned the memoir, Charlotte Au Chocolat: Memories of a Restaurant Girlhood.
