Happy 2014, WNBA-ers! I hope your holidays were wonderful and filled with family, friends, and fun. We had a great year here at the WNBA-NYC blog. Lots of changes were put in place to make the blog the information hub for our chapter. I hope we did a good job bringing you all the relevant news about our members and events.

With the New Year, come new avenues for me to pursue. This will be my last post as your blog and social media manager. I have the privilege of handing over the reins to Ms. Liberty Schauf, who I know will do an amazing job representing our organization. It has truly been a pleasure working with and for our members – from every Member Monday profile and blog promotion, to reporting on our many chapter events. I’ve met some amazing women as a member of this organization. I’d especially like to thank our chapter president, Jane Denning, and my “boss” Linda Epstein, who gave me this opportunity.

I hope to see you all at our spring events!

About Blog Editor

The Women’s National Book Association was founded in 1917 by female booksellers who weren’t allowed in the men’s organizations. Nearly 100 years later, the WNBA is still supporting women in the book industry through literary events, networking, literacy projects, workshops, open mic nights, book clubs, and many other entertaining programs throughout the season!
